About Raypat Boxers
~~~
Lucy
Am/Can.Champion Raypat's Queen of Hearts
Ray and I (Pat) have been in Boxers since 1980. We had just lost our beloved miniature poodle and our daughters ages 13 and 15 wanted another dog. Since I was raised with a Boxer, Ray thought we should look at a litter he found. We looked, but I refused to buy. We left only to turn around at the next intersection and go back and buy Ginger. When it came time to register her, we decided on Raypat's as our kennel name. Thus, the beginning of Raypat's Boxers.
Ginger was shown briefly and then acquired her Companion Dog Title. We loved her so much that we wanted another Boxer just like her. She was bred to Ch. New Dawn's Dream Machine and produced our first Champion, "Ch. Raypat's Daisy Duke". We were completely hooked by then.
With our limited breeding program, we have produced 13 Champions and a DOM under the Raypat's Banner.
One of our biggest achievements was our 2000 Grand Futurity Winner, Am/Can. Ch. Raypat's Queen of Hearts, Lucy.   See Lucy's Page > > >  Lucy was campaigned in the States and Canada. She was a Canadian Champion at 12 months of age, and an American Champion at 13 months of age. In 2002 Lucy qualified for Top Twenty. We still are showing her occasionally at 7 years old as a Veteran.
Actually all of our dogs have been "Specials". It does not take a Champion to be special in our eyes.
Lisa Holden joined our kennel in 1990 with the purchase of her first Boxer, Raypat's It's A Miracle (Hootch). Several years later, she acquired Raypat's Highland Kirbie. Since then we have been co-owners and co-breeders of many of our Boxers. Lisa also handles all of our pups. She has finished two from the Bred By Exhibitor Class. She has achieved the Most Bred By Exhibitor Dog Wins awarded by the American Boxer Club two years in a row.
When Lisa is not working for or with the dogs, she is a Physical Therapist.
