Ginger was our first Boxer, purchased as a pet. She did have a short Show Career. Among her accomplishments as a great pet was the fact that she was the first Boxer of the Allegheny Boxer Club to achieve a Companion Dog Title.

Ginger also was the dam of our first Champion, Ch. Raypat's Daisy Duke, (pictured below). She was also the dam of Raypat's Just Fred CD, (also pictured below) and is pictured with him above at 6 weeks.

Daisy went BOW at the Allegheny Boxer Club Specialty Show (1985) under breeder judge John Connolly to finish her championship.

Three years later, her son CH Lyndenlea's Autumn Ablaze ( see Past Dogs of Note) also went BOW at the Allegheny Boxer Club Fall Specialty Show, again under John Connolly, to pick up his second major.

He went on to get his C.D.. in 1984

Emmy (co-owned with Bob & Lyn Grimm) was purchased from Lu Steele shortly after the death of her husband, well-known Boxer handler Chuck Steele. She finished her Championship very quickly. One of the highlights on the road to her AKC Championship was going BOB out of the classes (over seven specials) and on to a Group 2. She was specialed by Chris and Dick Baum and was BOS at the ABC Specialty in 1989. That same year, she became the first Boxer bitch ever to qualify for the ABC "Top Twenty."

Blaze and Emmy produced a litter of puppies, one of which (Raypat's JJ of Lyndenlea) became a seeing eye dog for a retired farmer in Minnesota. There was an article about him in the "Boxer Review".   Another offspring, Raypat’s Zack of Lyndenlea, became an AKC Champion. (See Past Dogs of Note)
